Welcome to Nick's Letters
Letter #1
Hi, I'm Nick.
I've spent the last decade working in marketing, making music, building creative projects, and serving in nonprofit organizations. Along the way, I've learned that the most valuable ideas rarely come from trying harder to be interesting—they come from paying attention.
Paying attention to trends.
Paying attention to people.
Paying attention to the things that keep showing up in conversation, music, culture, technology, business, and art.
That's what this newsletter is about.
Every week—or whenever something feels worth sharing—I'll send a letter with observations, lessons, questions, and ideas that I think are worth exploring.
Sometimes that might be marketing.
Sometimes it might be creativity.
Sometimes it might be music, technology, faith, business, or culture.
Most of the time, it'll be some combination of all of them.
I don't claim to have all the answers. This is a place to document what I'm learning in real time and share it with others who are curious about the world.
What You Can Expect
Observations from everyday life
Marketing lessons that actually matter
Trends worth paying attention to
Thoughts on creativity and building things
Music, technology, and culture that shape the world
A Thought I've Been Sitting With
The internet rewards having an opinion immediately.
Real growth usually comes from observation first.
The people I admire most aren't necessarily the loudest voices in the room. They're the people who notice things others miss.
That's a skill worth developing.
And that's what these letters will hopefully help us do together.
Thanks for reading the first one.
Talk soon,
— Nick
